Roy Christian Raymond

Roy Christian Raymond was born on July 5, 1929 in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Roy passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on November 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, dedication and an unwavering love for family.

A successful insurance salesman, Roy relocated to Orlando, Florida in 1963, where he built a remarkable life for himself and his beloved wife Marilyn. Fearless in his pursuits and driven by a tireless work ethic, he exemplified the virtues of perseverance and determination, inspiring all who knew him.

His guidance, support and love shaped the lives of his five children; Vickie McCoy, Susan Degard, Ricky Raymond, Tammy Hampton and Derric Raymond, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who now carry forward his legacy with fond memories of his wisdom and humor.

Roy's life was one well lived, a testament to the power of dedication, love and resilience. His family, friends and all whose lives he touched will deeply miss him, but they celebrate the remarkable journey of a man who truly lived his values.

A service will be held to honor Roy's extraordinary life on December 7, 2024 from 3pm-5pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E. Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL.
