

Vernon Ray Page, Jr., was born June 10, 1947 in Uno, Virginia to the late Margaret Lee Washington Page and Vernon Ray Page, Sr.
To his family and many friends, he was known as “Pine”. He was educated in the Montclair, New Jersey Public School System, and graduated from Montclair High School in June, 1966 Most summers Vernon would spend time in Virginia with his grandparents, other siblings and cousins. Fond memories were made, and always full of laughter.
After graduating from High School, Vernon joined the US Army in November 1966 to 1969. He was a Vietnam Veteran.
Vernon was a dedicated employee of The United States Post Office in Upper Montclair, New Jersey for several years. Later he began a career with Essex County Hospital Center, in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
In 1995, Vernon relocated to Deltona Florida where he resided to the very end.
Vernon also was preceded in death by Brother Coleman Nelson Page, Sisters; Mary Elizabeth Page and Phyllis Janice Page Dubois; Lifelong Partner, Avon Jackson.
He leaves to mourn his passing; his sons Vernon Ray Page, III, Newark, NJ.; Corey Page, East Orange, NJ; and James Page, Fairburn, Ga. Sisters; Peggy Green, Union, NJ; Lucille Marie Exum, Pensacola, FL.; and Yvonne Armstrong, Newark, NJ. Brothers, Johnny Page (Ebony), Vallejo, Ca.: Leroy Page, Irvington, NJ and Robert Page, Piscataway, NJ. Former wife, Christine Page, Fairburn, Ga. Grandchildren Coray Page and Alex Page. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, Ms. Lidde Mavis, neighbor, and a community of Deltona, FL. Friends.
A memorial service for Vernon will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 90 Weathersfield Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
