Virginia Rivera Velez, 79 of Orlando FL, passed away on January 26, 2026. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on November 11, 1946. She was married to Julio Rivera on February 21, 1970. Virginia had a career in home health care. She was a member of la Iglesia Adventista de Bucarabones, and had a passion for woodworking, sewing, crafts, and cooking. She was survived by her daughters: Rosalee Rivera-Jesudas and Cindy Rivera. By her stepdaughters: Isabel, Tere, Priscilla, and Ruth, and preceded in death by her stepson: Julio Jr. By her grandchildren: Adriana, Kenedi, Anna, Lia, and a multitude of bonus grandchildren. And sisters: Blanca, Marge, and Carmen; Brothers: Jaime, David, Samuel, and preceded in death by Gilbert.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1pm on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 90 Weathersfield Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
