

William M. Goglas age 76, of Apopka, passed away October 3, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Goglas worked for many years as a Peace Officer with the New York Sanitation Department. William was a Life Member and Former President of the Wyandanch Volunteer Fire Company as well Past Commander of the VFW Post 2912. He attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. "Grandpa" as he was affectionately known will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives he touched throughout the years. Survivors include his wife Aurora; sons Philip, William Dennis, and Jerry Goglas; daughter Wanda Elaine Carlton; sister Ramona Vanleuvan; daughters-in-law Marilyn and Deborah; son-in-law Buddy; grandchildren Genevieve, Philip II, Traci, William, Jr. and Samantha Goglas, Felix Edward Bermudez; great-grandchildren Kyra, Kalynn and Kenadi Goglas-Cummings, Achilles Thornton and Cali Skye Bermudez. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 8, from 2-9 pm at Baldwin Fairchild, 90 Weathersfield Ave., Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi, 834 S. Orange Blossom Trl, Apopka, FL 32703, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka.
