Alice Ann was born March 17, 1934 in Amarillo to A.M. and Eunice Jones. She was married to Herman Edwards. While Herman was in the Navy, she lived in Tennessee and Honolulu Hawaii. They loved to camp by tent until their interests went to trailers and motor homes. Alice and Herman camped in Colorado and toured the N.E. United States and parts of Canada. Alice Ann loved to sow and knit. She taught knitting at Sears for several years. Alice Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nina McKinney; brother, George Jones; grandsons, Donald Johnson and Levi Ray Edwards; and nephews Sam and Casey Jones. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Herman Edwards; daughter, Cynthia Ann Edwards of Amarillo; sons, Jonny Edwards and wife Paula and Mikel Edwards and wife Teresa both of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
