Aline Vandivere 87 of Amarillo passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 10:00 A.M. at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Mantooth Officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Home April 1, 2011 from 6-8.
Mrs. Vandivere was born in Stratford, Ok August 6th, 1923. She moved to Amarillo in 1966. Mrs. Vandivere was a homemaker and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She married Dewey Vandivere in 1940 in Shamrock.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey and a granddaughter, Tracie Vandivere.
Survivors include two sons and three daughters, Stanley Vandivere, Danny Vandivere, Marcella True and Geneva Towndrow, all of Amarillo and Beverly Campbell of Spring Branch, TX; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, 5 great-great grandchildren and 1 on the way, two sisters and two brothers.
