Barbara Gene Morrell, 75 of Amarillo passed away March 18, 2014. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Jerry Davey officiating. Barbara Gene Morrell was born March 13, 1939 in California. She gave her life to Jesus on May 1982 and was baptized in November of 1983. She lived in Minnesota for 30 years. Barbara retired to live in Amarillo with her sister Cleta. She was a loving sister and a great friend that will be greatly missed. She is survived by sisters, Cleta Upton of Amarillo, Chris Bowerman and husband Bill of South Lake, Texas and an adopted sister, Barbie Maki and husband Howard of Minnesota; brother, Phillip Brookshier and wife Connie of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
