Beatrice Alene Swindell

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. (Tom) Swindell, her parents, a sister Margaret, a brother Curtis Dale, and a stepson, Gerald Ray Swindell.

She is survived by her children Cyndi Rivera of Amarillo, Texas, Terri Ulodogan of Maryland, Jay Blackwell of Amarillo, Texas, Dale Smith and partner Laura of Amarillo, Texas, and a stepson David and wife Mary Swindell of Amarillo, Texas, a sister Patricia and husband DaWayne Ince of Canyon, Texas, a brother Gerald and wife Karen Bramblett of Amarillo, Texas. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

She had a passion for reading and she loved sewing and creating quilts, also crocheting, painting, and doing any kind of craft she could get her hands on. She worked for Levi Strauss for many years and then she went on to work at Unifirst, a uniform company, where she retired from.

She will be missed by all who her loved ones and friends.

A visitation for Beatrice will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas 79118. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 6969 E. Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas 79118. A graveside service will occur Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 E. Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas 79118.
