Betty was born October 5, 1926 in Amarillo to Barney and Helen Moore. She lived Tulsa, Oklahoma for over 30 years. While in Tulsa she worked at the animal shelter and was an animal foster parent. Betty moved to Quitaque, Texas to be closer to her family. She enjoyed gardening, calligraphy and being outdoors. One of her biggest achievements was flying solo in Amarillo, setting an aviation record at the time. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Betty is survived by her daughter, Linda Morrison of Howardwick and brother, Barney Moore of Amarillo.
