Beverly Ann Walker, 74 of Denton passed away February 11, 2014. Private family services will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Beverly was born August 11, 1939 in Denton to Jack and Rosabel Bryson. She attended North Texas State University in Denton and received her Masters Degree in Business Administration from West Texas A&M University. She married Freddie Walker in 1974. Beverly taught at Tascosa High School in Amarillo from 1964 until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the National Education Association. She was preceded in death by her husband Freddie in 2011 and a brother, Billy Jack Bryson in 2007. Survivors include her daughter, Christy Ann Gaither of Amarillo; son, Brent Gaither of Austin; brother, Ben Bryson; sister-in-law, Jean Bryson; granddaughter, Brittany Wilkins and great-grandchildren Harper and Jack Wilkins. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be sent to the Amarillo SPCA or the Amarillo Humane Society.
