Beverly Pauline Webb

Beverly will lie in state for viewing on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 12pm to 5pm in the Memorial Park Funeral home located at 6969 E. Interstate 40 in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home’s Chapel of Memories on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 2pm. Burial will be private.

Beverly was born on July 26, 1929 in Bucoda, Washington to William Floyd and Opal Angela (Holdsclaw) Thomas. She grew up working in California fields picking strawberries and cotton and helping raise her siblings. She married her best friend’s brother, Mr. George T. Webb Jr, when he returned from service and moved to Texas.

She worked in the school cafeteria at Whittier Elementary where her children went to school. Never content with down time, she was always cleaning or cooking while listening to the news. Friends loved to come over because snacks were always provided.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Opal, husband George, daughter Cheryl, sons Larry and Dale; and her siblings Sharon, Karen, Mona, Donald, and Bill. Those left to cherish her memories are her son Sean, her 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren and many other loving family and dear friends.
