Carolyn “Susie” Evans, 69 of Amarillo passed away February 16, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 19, 2015. Private Entombment will be by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Susie was born December 6, 1945 in Amarillo to Wayne and Virginia Evans. She retired from Dunlap’s after many years of service. Susie was a woman who cared for and loved everyone she knew. Susie will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Susie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Mike Evans; sister, Jenny Ann Evans; aunt, Mary Whatley; great-nephew, Max Petty and her grandma, Lucy Gibbs. She is survived by her sisters, Sandra Parks and husband David and Nora Love and husband Lowell; also by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
