He was born March 26, 1934 in Skellytown, Texas to Wayne and Ruth Lewis. Carroll served his country in the U.S. Navy and married Nella Rose Dawson on December 20, 1954. After his service in the Navy, he went to work at the U.S. States Postal Service and retired from there in 1992.
Carroll is survived by son; Tab Lewis of Adelphi, Maryland and daughter; Melody Grace husband Bob of Amarillo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, one brother and two sisters.
Carroll will be missed by both family and friends.
