Charles “Ken” Horn, 79 of Amarillo passed away March 19, 2015. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Llano Cemetery with Chaplain Ken Haney officiating. Services are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell. Ken was born April 8, 1935 in Berryville, Arkansas. He served his country in the U.S. Army and then worked with the New Mexico State Highway Patrol as an electrician. Ken was a loving man who always put everyone’s needs above his own. He was very talented and creative and enjoyed years of traveling with his wife and granddaughters, making a living with the arts and crafts he and his wife made. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Horn and his parents, Charles and Iva Horn. Ken is survived by a daughter, Iva Amaro of Roswell, New Mexico; step-daughter, Kandy Rodriguez of Amarillo; step-son, Michial Dunlap of Amarillo; granddaughters, April and Crystal Berry both of Amarillo and grandson, Slade Berry of Midland.
