Deena was born July 19, 1951 in Amarillo to Clarence and Martha Coble. She graduated from Stratford High School in 1969 and then attended WTSU. She worked as the PTA president while her girls were in school to help them make the best memories possible. When the girls grew up she worked as the administrator for Dr. William Edward Richards until she retired in 2018. While working with Dr. Richards she moved to Cincinnati, OH and Savannah, GA. While on this Journey she worked to help the Jaymie Jamison Foundation to spread awareness for Gynecological Cancer. She also sat on the board for the Teal Tea Party to raise funds for ovarian cancer research. When she retired she moved back home to Texas to be close to her family.
Once back in Texas her days were filled being surrounded by her family. She helped her daughter Jamie run her coffee shop in Turkey where she made many friends. She was a very outgoing, independent spunky person who loved life. She was warm and welcoming and wanted to be in the midst of it all. She always went above and beyond for everyone. More than anything she wanted to be in the mountains of Colorado playing cards and spending her days with her family.
She is survived by her mother Martha Coble; Brother Matt Coble, Sister Marka Heard and sister-in-law Renee Hager Coble. Daughter Jamie Plumlee and husband Larry, Daughter Amanda Stanford and husband Ricky. Granddaughters Alexis Plumlee and Kayla Davis and husband Larry. Nephews Ryan Coble and wife Annie, and Landry Coble. Niece Courtney Box and husband Randy. Grandsons Corban Plumlee, Michael Plumlee and husband James, Braden Stanford and wife Emily, Bryce Stanford and wife Aurora, and Brody Stanford, great-nephews Kaden and Kinsler, great-niece Emmie, and three great grandchildren Brantley, Dallas and Aurelia.
She is preceded in death by her father Clarence Coble, Husband Larry Hyer, brother-in-law Tommy Heard and granddaughter Abigail Lynn.
