Doris Pinner Huffine

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Central Church of Christ Chapel with the Rev. Bob Crass, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lockney Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Doris was born Dec. 29, 1930, in Lockney. She married Joe Pinner in June 1948. They farmed in Bovina until 1968 and later moved to Amarillo in 1973.

Doris was a longtime member at Southwest Church of Christ. She loved to read and oil paint.

Doris married Tom Huffine in May 1991. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1996.

The biggest joys of her life were the Lord, her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Pinner, in 1973; and a grandson, Erik Ringstad, in 1971.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Huffine; three daughters, Beverly Stinson and husband John of Amarillo, Toni Barrett and husband Randy of Winter Park, Colo., and Linda Jones and husband Ron of Lubbock; a stepson, Larry Huffine and wife Vanessa of Borger; a sister, Louise Middaugh of San Angelo; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
