He was born September 16, 1962 in Arlington, Texas to Arlie and Viola Browning.
Gary grew up in Amarillo, his family moved here in 1968 as one of the first families with Bell Helicopter. Gary graduated from Caprock High School in 1981, later he worked on getting his degree in Architecture, after given a scholarship at Amarillo College. He work at American National as a Insurance salesman. Gary was a huge Dallas Cowboy’s Football fan. He loved to go fishing, especially when his dad was still alive. Gary was an active member in AA, Moss Lane was his home group taking many meetings to several treatment centers.
He is survived by his son; Jeremy Browning of Amarillo, step-daughter; Natasha Purcell and husband Zach of Midland, Texas, sister; Debra Browning of Amarillo, cousins; John Riddlespurger and Tim Riddlespurger of Amarillo. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, sister; Karen Waren, and nephew; Cliff Waren.
He will be missed by both friends and family.
