Harold attended Dumas High School, after high school he moved to Grand Prairie Texas and worked for LTD Aircraft plant as a machinist. He moved back to Amarillo in 1969 and had several truck driving jobs including Curry Motor Freight Lines, Permian Oil and Gas and then Affiliated Foods from 1993 until his retirement on July 18, 2015. He married Carolyn McPherson on June 11, 2004. Harold loved to travel and a few places he enjoyed spending time in was Ruidoso, Branson and any place he could wet a hook.
Harold is survived by his wife Carolyn of Amarillo, daughter; Christy Ferguson and husband Gary of Lubbock. Sons; Russell Baker and Wife Janna of Ransom Canyon and Brad Baker and wife Dena of Amarillo. Two sister; Frances Lee of Amarillo and Katherine Seale of Garden City Kansas, Brother; Donald Baker of Borger. Step-son; Jimmy Kirkland of San Antonio, step-daughter; Debbie Trent of Amarillo. Grandchildren; Karri Bolton, Jennifer Ferguson, Logan Ferguson, Kayla Baker, Casey Baker and wife Kassidy, Colton Baker and wife Jenna, Sammy Baker, Cayson Baker, Cherish Baker and Braden Baker. Step grandchildren; Dayton Trent, Nathan Kirkland, Joe Kirkland, Cherish Kirkland and Shayna Kirkland-Watson. Great grandchildren; Allie Baker, Hadley Baker and Jaylen Campos.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, one brother William Baker and one grandchild; Chance Baker
