Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lifeway Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Micah Meurer of River Road Baptist Church and the Rev. Mitch Wilson of First Baptist Church in Shallowater officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
John was born Aug. 15, 1959, in Amarillo to John and Judy Fink. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1977, and married Anita Malone on Jan. 2, 1978.
He was employed by Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad, having started with them in March 1978.
John was a member of River Road Baptist Church and was a master craftsman, dedicating a lot of time and handy work to and for the church.
John's hobbies included restoring classic cars, fishing, hunting, golfing and being an overall outdoorsman. He was a member of the High Plains Thunderbird Car Club and Kustom
