Joyce Ward

Mary Joyce Ward (Joyce) 88 of Amarillo passed from this world January 20, 2026. She was born August 8, 1937. Joyce was one of six children. She had to quit school to help on the farm. She lived for her 2 daughters, too raise them right into always believe in themselves, and do the best they could do. She worked very hard to raise her girls.

She is survived by daughters; Kathy Biggs and Shirley Cox. Also by her 2 sisters; Pearl Agliardo and Frances Fox. Joyce had 4 Grandkids; Vanessa Watkins, Lucas Biggs, Joey Lankston, B.J. Hatfield. She had 4 Great-Grandkids; Robert Gray, Christina Gray, Abigail Biggs, Sydney Rose Biggs, Ambree Hatfield, Blayne and Isaac Watkins. She had 2 Great-Great-Grandkids; Jayden Gray and Kiley Gail Gray.

Did her best to keep up with them all. Plus all her nieces and nephews. She worked for years at Cattlemen’s Café. She could be ornery at times and very stubborn.
