Juanita M. Rogers Roberts

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Bill Gehm, pastor of Grace Community Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Juanita was born April 8, 1940, to Robert and Lola Rogers. She married Sam Roberts August 1966. They were married for 43 years, and together they raised four children. Juanita was involved in girls Olympic softball for five years. Her team won three intercity championships and three Montclair Gold Tournaments.

Juanita was a member of Grace Community Church. She enjoyed making Christmas bears and stuffed animals. Juanita adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her laughter and radiant smile will be missed but never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence "Sam" Roberts of Amarillo; two sons, Ray Russell Parker and Stuart Roberts, both of Amarillo; two daughters, Karen Kaye Gordon and Tanya Terese Kane, both of Amarillo; two brothers, Charles Rogers of Amarillo and Robert Rogers of California City, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and eagerly awaiting the birth of one more.
