Juanita was born on February 5, 1937 in Ysleta (El Paso), Texas to William V and Oneitta M Ross and was the youngest of five girls. Following High School, Juanita would marry George Stone on June 18, 1955.
Juanita’s life revolved around her girls and her grandchildren. Juanita was passionate and devoted to her faith in the Lord, and studied his word with immense belief. She enjoyed puzzles, reading a good book, and of course, watching the weather. She always had a smile on her face, regardless of the situation.
Juanita was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ural George Stone on February 4, 1984. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters Georgina Lunsford and husband Bob, and Cherri Eichhorn and husband Leslie. She also leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren Chris Kyle and wife Molly, Kia Gonzales and husband Ben, Mitchell Eichhorn and wife Joy, and Sean Eichhorn; as well as her great grandchildren Courtney Kyle, Reva and Silas Gonzales, and Clara and Emilia Eichhorn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to any breast cancer awareness foundation or support group of your choice in honor of Juanita L. Stone.
