She was born March 12, 1933 in Galatia Kansas to Marvin and Myrtle Koerber. Her Grandfather delivered her and twin sister Karolyn, and they where put in a shoe box and placed them on a wood burning stove that chilly day. After her birth in Kansas, the family moved to Arizona then Oregon, where she grew up on the family farm, this started her love for animals. She and the family soon moved to Amarillo where she attended Amarillo High, where she met her high school sweetheart and graduated in 1951. Kathryn then moved to Chicago and attended Moody Bible Institute, where her sweetheart Alden was already attending. They had a call to serve the Lord and had a plan to become missionaries, but the opportunity didn’t happen. She instead got engaged after graduation in the fall and she and Alden drove down to Amarillo and got married on June 19, 1954 and stayed together until her passing. She loved being a wife and mother raising four children, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, older sister Jeanne, identical twin sister Karolyn and daughter in-law Brandy
She is survived by her husband Alden White, three sons Joel White and wife Kelly, Matthew White and husband Thomas Schumacher, David White, daughter Charis Berry and husband Rex; nine grandsons Jeremy White, Ian Stewart, York Stewart, Josh White, Grey Berry, Alden Berry, Kellen Berry, Brandon Berry, Dustin Berry, Jonathan Renfroe, and two granddaughters Hannah Byars, and Rachel Bentley, twenty great-grandchildren. She will be missed by both family and friends.
