Larry worked as a mechanic. He served in Vietnam in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force.
He loved the outdoors and camping. His proudest moments in life were the birth of his children and grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Frances Kelly Romines; and a sister, Susan L. Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Evelyn Kelly; two daughters, Mary Ann Schiffinger and husband Mark of Lawton, Okla., and Mary Ellen Kelly of Amarillo; five sisters, Judy Gordon and husband Bill of Baytown, Leslie Selby and husband Don of Las Vegas, Jo Ann Scruggs of Springtown, Kathy Wheeler and Buford Wheeler, both of Amarillo, and Cindy Wurst and husband Tony of Arlington, Wash.; a grandson, Mark Patrick Schiffinger Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
