Lloyd was born on November 3, 1932, in Kosse, Texas to Robert Dan Reddoch and Ruby Edna Holmes Reddoch. He was raised in Amarillo, Texas. He married Naomi Corrine Gerber on July 8, 1957, in Pampa, Texas. Lloyd worked as a barber starting at the age of 16. He worked alongside his father in the family business and later alongside his sons Ross and Ben. He retired in 1998.
Lloyd was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on December 25, 1955. He spent his lifetime preaching and teaching about the Bible. When he became homebound, he continued his ministry by writing letters to individuals explaining the benefits of God’s Kingdom.
Lloyd will be remembered as a quiet, calm, patient person. He was steadfast, loyal, and loving. He enjoyed learning about God’s creation, especially birds. Birds were an endless source of fascination for him.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Naomi, five children: Rebecca, Ben (Ila), Paul (Tami), Joellen, and Ross (Carolina). He had six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren and Booger Reddoch, the best dog there ever was.
Along with his family, Lloyd had a host of friends who will miss him until he is resurrected as promised in John 5:28 & 5:29.
