Mary Swindell

Mary was born on April 13, 1953 In Pampa Texas to Ben and Wanda Rains.

Mary is survived by husband of 52 years, David Swindell of Amarillo, daughter Taunya Swindell of Amarillo, son Shane Swindell of Oklahoma, and seven grandkids. Brother Wesley Rains of Amarillo, sister Charla Rineheart of Amarillo, Sister Bobbie and husband Sam McLaughlin of Amarillo, sister Pam Rains of Amarillo, sister-in-law Carmen Swindell of Waco, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her dad Ben Rains, mother Wanda Rains, father-in-law Tom Swindell, mother-in-law Wanda Swindell, brother-in-law Johnny Rineheart, brother-in-law Gerald Swindell, sister-in-law Dana Rains.

Mary married David on June 20, 1970 and entered cosmetology school. She was a hairdresser for 46 years and enjoyed what she did, Mary loved all her patrons. She also loved her grandkids and spending time with them. She loved working out in the yard and in her flower beds, loved taking road trips with her husband. Mary enjoyed doing crafts and making mums for her grandkids. She loved the Lord and it was expressed the way she treated people. She has entered the house that the Lord has built, she will always be loved and missed.
