Mary was a very adventurous person. She loved to travel in her RV. She loved to garden and spend time with her family. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was a member of North Beacon Church of Nazarene for many years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Weems Jr; a daughter, Diana Nelson; a granddaughter, Amy Tompkins; a great-grandson, Corey Cummings; two sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Thompson of Palestine, Mary Weems of Carrollton and Jack Weems and wife Cindy of Amarillo; a sister, Doris Jean Berg of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Christina Bragg, Michael Cummings, Nathan Weems, Sarah Weems and Shelby Weems; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Breast Cancer Society.
