

Pam Biggs Roberts, 63 of Amarillo passed away February 14, 2014. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Hal Rogers officiating. Services are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Pam was born August 23, 1950 in Ada, Oklahoma to Cecil and Carol Ann Biggs. She was raised here in Amarillo by her grandmother, Beulah Hill. Pam attended Tascosa High School. She had many talents and was extremely good at quilting, sewing and crafting. Pam was a homemaker and spent her life raising her children whom she loved very much. With their main interests being sports, Pam dedicated herself to making sure that their hobbies were fulfilled to the fullest. Later in her life, her grandchildren became her focus and they were her life. One thing her family will always remember is Pam’s amazing sense of humor, she was an absolute joy to be around. Pam was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all. Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Roberts in 2008; her father, Cecil Biggs; grandmother, Beulah Hill granddaddy Lloyd Hill; and a brother Mike Maple. Pamela is survived by her son, Weldon Lee Roberts and wife Kathy of Amarillo; daughters, Melissa “Missy” Lance and husband Brad of Canyon and Angela Hernandez and husband James of Burleson; her mother, Carol Ann Johnson of Edmond, Oklahoma; sisters, Debby Biggs Turbeville of Gainsville and Carol Kay Biggs of Edmond, Oklahoma; brother, Pat Maple of Edmond, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Terry Roberts and wife Teri of Amarillo; also by her 12 grandchildren.
