Pearl Jeffers

Pearl began her teaching career as a public school teacher, but dedicated her life to Christian Education. She taught at Grace Christian Academy for 15 years. She was a YMCA Director for 10 years, worked at San Jacinto Christian Academy for 25 years, and was a piano teacher for 50 years. She is a current member of Arden Road Baptist Church. Pearl was a member of Amarillo Baptist Church for 35 years, where she taught Sunday school, was a pianist, soloist, choir member, volunteer in the summer to City Church, and took mission trips to Brazil. She had a music degree at WT, and Elementary Education Certificates. She also completed several Precept Ministry Bible Courses.

She is survived by her children; Valorie Hoffmaster and husband Scott from Boardman, OH, Paul Jeffers and wife Karen from Amarillo, TX, Debbie Galarza from Amarillo, TX Cheryl Miewes and husband Chris from Dimmit, TX, 7 grandchildren; Brandi Salinas and husband Eric, Brian Hoffmaster and wife Holly, Whitney Esparza and husband Alic, Kimberly Galarza and Husband Al Moore, Caleb Mendoza and wife Tessa, Emily Jeffers, Makenna Jeffers, 13 great-grandchildren; Aiden Moore, Albert Moore, Sophie Jeffers, Kaitlyn Hoffmaster, Aliya Moore, Amelia Esparza, Josiah Hoffmaster, Bentlee Pearl Salinas, Zachary Hoffmaster, Amari Moore, Everlee Salinas, Landon Hoffmaster, Elliot Hoffmaster, Siblings; JoAnn Jolley and husband JT, Jimmie Fields and wife Muriel.

Pearl is preceded in death by husband S.L. Jeffers, parents; Edith and James Fields.
