Ray Dean Hopkins , 78 of Amarillo passed away August 31, 2016. Graveside inurnment service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Hopkins officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Ray was born February 21, 1938 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Vernie and Beatrice Hopkins. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retried from Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic after 40 years of service. Ray was preceded in death by his loving wife, Audrey; son, Michael; two sisters and a brother. Ray leaves behind a brother, Jerry Hopkins; two sons, Tony Hopkins and family and Mitch Hopkins and family; two daughters, Jeri Lynne Donnell and family and Deanna Albaral and family; also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
