Tommy Hugh Cannon Jr of Amarillo passed away January 10, 2023. Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 at 3 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Pastor Greg Corona officiating. Tommy was born in Amarillo, Texas to Tommy and Cynthia Cannon. He attended Amarillo public schools and graduated from Amarillo High School. He worked at AISD driving a school bus for 25 years. He loved his family, but his grandchildren Quinton,Katee and Everett were the apple of his eye. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy and UT fan. He will be missed by all.
Tommy is preceded in death by his father; and a sister Monica Lynn Word.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother Cynthia Nutter and sister Celine Walker and husband Jimmy. Grandchildren Quinton, Katee and Everett. Nieces Brandi Durrett, Britani Huff, Amber Perez and husband Chris. Along with three great nephews and 2 great nieces and a host of friends.
