I met Mr. McKay one time. His son, Joe, is a leader in our Scout troop in Lancaster and we went to Philmont Scout Ranch in 2009. Mr. McKay met us in Amarillo when we stayed at their scout hut on our return trip. Mr. McKay also went to breakfast with us. He made us feel like we were life long friends. He was a very nice man. MY condolences go out to to the entire McKay family.
