Born on 06/15/1944 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila México to Manuel and Petra Gonzales
She came to Petersburg, TX, in January 1957, when she was 12 years old. In 1981 she became a US Citizen. She worked at Levi’s Strauss for many years, then she worked with TSA as a attendant. She became a Christian and started attending church in 1990 and always kept her faith in God.
She married the love of her life Rodolfo Arriaga on March 17th, 1962 and they had 2 sons. And have had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her passion was gardening, she loved music especially mariachi music. She had a voice that would make you stop and listen to her sing. She sang in church choir. She loved to travel to the mountains and she took her children and grandchildren on many camping trips with them.
Victoria is survived by her husband; Rodolfo Arriaga (married March 17, 1962) sons; Miguel Arriaga from Amarillo, and Marcos Arriaga and wife Angie from Amarillo, Tx. grandchildren; David Alonzo, Rodolfo Arriaga and wife Joline, Monica Arriaga, Marcos Arriaga, Jordan Arriaga and fiancé Ashlie Martinez, and Alex Arriaga, 13 Great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, (with one passing away), sister Lupe Moreno of Austin, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Manuel Gonzalez passing in 2004 and Petra Gonzalez passing in 1989, one sister; Virginia Esparza passing in 2008, one great-great-grandson; Alexander Law passing on March 3, 2023.
Victoria will be missed by both her family and friends.
