Virginia Lou Etta Joiner, of Canyon, was born to Levi Floyd and Jewel Elizabeth (Sanders) Joiner on March 17, 1927. She crossed over Jordan, but not alone at the age of 88, on Thursday, October 1, 2015. Sister Knepp was a faithful member of the Canyon Church of Christ. She was baptized in 1952 in Borger, Texas, and has raised four children, Meredith, Kimberly, Douglas, and Angela, who loves her very much and will miss her terribly.
Virginia (Gina) Knepp was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and her husband, Meredith Knepp, Sr., whom she married on January 5, 1946. Survivors include her three sons of Amarillo, her daughter, Angela, of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, many nieces and nephews, 10 grandchildren,19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Her hospitality was practically without measure; her home was always open to all Christians, and too many out in the world! She housed several and fed many in her lifetime! Everyone who knew her will mourn her passing; she was an inspiration for most everyone she knew.
