Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Lee Matter of Arena of Life Cowboy Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Wanda was born Jan. 28, 1937, in Tulsa, Okla. She was a member of Arena of Life Cowboy Church.
Wanda will be remembered as a very loving and Christian woman. She was a longtime employee of United Supermarkets, where she retired after more than 20 years of service.
She never met a stranger and will be missed by all she knew.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Wilbert Burgess and Ben L. Carriker; and a son, Tommy Wayne Burgess.
Survivors include four sons, Wilbert H. Burgess Jr. of Oklahoma, Ben Carriker, Fred Carriker and Ted Carriker; four daughters, Lenniea Vaughn, Wanda Willburn and Pamela McMahan, all of Amarillo, and Mattie Rupprecht; a brother, Buddy Gleason; two sisters, Juanita and Louise; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
