Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with Craig Albracht officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Bill was a WWII veteran who served in the Merchant Marines and the Army. Bill was a lifelong resident of Amarillo, where he worked as a carpenter with F. Rutson Fuqua Builders until he retired in 1994. Bill was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports. He was an avid Dallas football and Texas Rangers baseball fan.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Felton Sr. and Irene Felton; wife Betty Felton and two sons, William Kyle Felton and Gary Smith.
Bill is survived by his best friend, Betty Thompson; two daughters-in-law, Brenda Burgett and husband Jeff and Terry Smith; a son-in-law, Guy Harris and wife Donna; seven grandchildren, Cody Felton and wife Lauren, Chelsea Felton Schniers and husband Layton, Casea Felton, Rusty Smith and wife Holly, Jeri Mitchell and husband Ian, Joshua Burgett, Jacob Burgett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
