Having just arrived home from the Weekend in Buffalo and attendance at the beautiful Celebration of Life for our EMMETT, I wanted to say how fortunate you and we were to have such a quality person like Emmett Reilly in our lifes.

The funeral Mass was a true celebration of a great man, who has left so many memories, values and examples behind for all of us to learn from.  As Msgr. Keleher reinforced " that from the passing of a great man, we must all learn from it and walk out of St. Joseph's, much different than when we entered"...I certainly did and know that the 1000 plus participants in the Celebration of Life did also.

As the eldest Grandson of Ma and Daddy Cardina, all of the cousins present felt the loss of Emmett, but at the same time, we also understood that Emmett is in a far better place and enjoying telling Ma, Daddy, Isabel and Emmett, Fran, Pascal, Ted and Franklin about his wonderful Family and all those aunts, uncles and cousins still here.  What a Reunion that must have been!

So much to be proud of...his Life, his Family, his Accomplishments, his Career and all the Footprints left behind.  Ruth, Jessica, Brett....we salute your strength and understand your pain.  You were so fortunate to have such a wonderful man as a Husband and Father....and you will remain in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead..

To Helen and Wayne, Dennis, Duke, Patrick and Neil....it was truly a Celebration  and Emmett would not have had it any different. Thank you all for the arrangements and the spirit that was present all weekend. God Bless you all.

I haven't seen Emmett in years, but he was always one of my favorite people.  His smile & laugh were infectious and he was always in a great mood and fun to be around.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Reillys.

I just returned home from a business trip and was told by my wife of Emmett's passing.  Although it has been years since I saw Emmett I have many fond memories of the time we spent together.  Mead Supply and when he went to work at JWD.  Emmett always brightened up a room and made people comfortable.  he was a credit to his parents and to his entire family. I have just heard of Emmett's death. It would be impossible for me to put to words the sincere sympathy I wish to express to you. I worked with Emmett for 5 years in the 90's at JWD.
