Johnny & Anne- I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. Mike (Ironman!) & I have fond memories of Starin Ave, playing football & baseball @ St Joes, going on the NFT downtown to the BAC, playing "Dick Butcus" and stay overs at your house when your dad would go to the Silent Woman tavern to bring us back beef on weck sandwiches. He was a real class act. Our deepest sympathy to the entire Duggan family. Hope you are all well.

Dear Sheila, my sincerest condolences on the loss of your dad. He was the best. He always had a smile and a cheery greeting whenever I saw him in church with your mom.

My heartfelt condolences go the family of Mr. Duggan.  I was blessed to have met and worked with Mr. Duggan for many years at Brown & Kelly.  My fondest memories of him are that he always had a mini spy camera in hand ready to take pictures at any firm event, if he ever got the film developed I will never know, that was a long standing joke between he and the staff ... the smell of his pipe, you could smoke in the offices back then ... his passion for the Fire Department ... the miniature fire engines in his office ... a scanner he listened to, we always knew when something big was happening downtown, when roads were closed due to weather conditions, etc.  He was the kindest gentleman and will sadly be missed.

I remember Mr. Duggan from his association with the BFD Officer's Association. He was a gentleman at all times, even when it got very testy at a meeting. His passing is a loss to all who knew him.  Ned Young,

I was blessed to know Mr. Duggan!  I had the honor of working with him at Brown & Kelly and had such fondness for him!  I also knew him through his wonderful grandsons, Mark and Tom.  I feel so lucky to know I have another angel on my side in heaven!!!!

I offer my heartfelt condolences to Jim's  family.  He was always a gentleman and mentor to me as a young lawyer, and I learned a great deal from him on  how to be a good advocate yet retain high ethical standards.  He was a good friend to my parents and brother, and he has joined them in heaven.  God bless you all.

Jim was the model of what a father, husband and lawyer should be. I relied on him at Brown & Kelly for advice & counsel on many occasions. He dealt with complex issues using compassion, ethics and a sense of humor. Men like him are few and far between. He left a good memory with everyone who met him.

I have many many fond memories of Mr. Duggan. He was always the gentleman and every day was made brighter at Brown & Kelly with his presence. I still use his favorite saying when someone asks how I am.  My reply is "I am doing so much better now that I see you."  I loved hearing those words from him and though I know the loss to this world and his family is deep, knowing he is in a better place with his wife is such a beautiful thought.
