Survived by his mother and stepfather - Elizabeth and Charles Cecil; brothers - Chuck, Cecil, David, Pat and Michael Duke; sisters - Randi, Cecil, Charlene Snowden, Pamela Blackburn, Mary and Maureen Duke, Kelly Volk and his companion of 32 years - Sharon Young.
Bill graduated from Boston College in 1967 and served 6 years in The Army and was honorably discharged. He worked in Chicago, Illinois and Southern California many years as a Retail and Sales Manager. Bill was a student of the game of pocket billiards and ran many pool tournaments in billiard rooms and sports bars. His love of the game and sportsmanship conduct was an inspiration to many.
