Christopher “Chris” Coleman Campola was born on October 23, 1975, in New Hartford, New York to Sharon Ann (Coleman) and Roland Patsy Campola. While Chris was an only child he was raised alongside his cousin, Michelle (Bill) Piotrowski. He graduated from Liverpool High School in Liverpool, New York. Chris continued his education at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware graduating with a Bachelor of Hospitality and Restaurant Management.
After college, he began working for Bennigan’s in southern Maryland. Then later, he worked for Clyde’s Restaurant Group at various locations in Maryland where Chris worked his way up into upper management establishing himself as an Assistant General Manager, even earning his sommelier certificate. During his time at Clyde’s Chris became a father to his daughter, Charlotte or “Charlie”, and it was the proudest moment of his life, and she became his guiding light. After his daughter relocated to Ankeny, Iowa, Chris followed not wanting to miss a moment with her. It was there that Chris began working for Buffalo Wild Wings at various locations. He worked his way to being the General Manager of the Merle Hay Road Buffalo Wild Wings location.
Chris was joined in marriage to Shannon Leigh Taylor on May 22, 2015, in Corolla, North Carolina also known as the Outer Banks. Chris was obsessed with golf, whether it was playing or attending many golf tournaments including the Master’s in Augusta, Georgia he dearly loved the game. He was an avid University of Syracuse basketball fan, attending many games with his father and friends over the years. Chris dearly loved going to sporting events with his wife, and he even proposed to Shannon at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. They were truly meant to be together. Chris loved to cook and eat with those he loved and was often heard saying “He was Italian and that’s how he showed his love was through food and drink.” He passed his gift of cooking on to his daughter. Most of all, Chris dearly loved spending time with his family.
