

Clara Grace Leverenz, 87, of Ankeny, IA died unexpectedly of a stroke on May 2nd, 2015.
Grace was born to William and Maude Naber and attended Tipton Schools. She was very involved with vocal and instrumental activities and played every sport that girls were allowed to play. Grace graduated from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, WI. It was there she met her husband, Jack Leverenz.
Grace’s joy in life came from entertaining people. She was involved in many Ankeny activities and organizations. She was in the Ankeny Community Chorus, produced plays for the Ankeny Community Theatre, the Perky Penguins, and Toastmasters. She played piano and the organ for church and sang for the choir. She loved to play bridge and have friends and relatives visit for Happy Hour.
Those loved ones that remain are: Ted and Paula Leverenz and Tad Leverenz of Ankeny, IA, Jeff Leverenz and Cristina Romeo of Thousand Oaks, CA and Jon and Michele Leverenz of Lakeville, MN.
Grandchildren: Jack William and wife Laura (2 great-grandsons, Landon and Nolan), Kevin, Kimberly, Phoenix Leverenz and Donovan Heine, Tate and Skyler Leverenz.
Brother, Bill Naber and wife Dawn, sons; Jay, Scott and Mark, Sister-In-Law Eileen Naber, and Steve, Craig and Barb.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 P.M., Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Ankeny Presbyterian Church with a memorial service to follow from 4-6 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to Ankeny Presbyterian Church, or the Ankeny Community Theatre.
