

Kathy Kinney, a woman known for her gentle spirit and generous heart, passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness and care for others. She was born on January 6, 1962, in Iowa to her parents, Larry Templton Sr. and Francis Ruud.
In 1989, Kathy married Dennis “Mouse” Kinney. Kathy had a playful and creative side—she found happiness in coloring books, cherished her collection of unicorns and stuffed animals, and rarely went without her favorite Pepsi. She also loved spending time in the water, where she felt free and at peace.
Kathy dedicated much of her life to helping others. She was actively involved with the AIDS Project and worked with primary health care services, always striving to bring comfort and dignity to those in need. Her compassion extended beyond her work—she cared deeply for people experiencing homelessness and was known for offering warmth and understanding to anyone who crossed her path.
Above all, Kathy was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother who put her children first and found immense joy in her role as a grandmother. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Kathy will be remembered for her kindness, her giving nature, and the love she shared so freely. She touched many lives and leaves behind a lasting impression on all who knew her.
