Lois Kelley, 73, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Mitchellville United Methodist Church in Mitchellville, Iowa. Following the service friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the church. At Lois’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Unity Point Taylor House or Mitchellville Methodist Church. Burial will be held at a later date in Omaha, Nebraska.
Lois was born September 6, 1942 in Omaha, NE, to Marvin and Doris Iler. She was united in marriage to Wellen Kelley on September 5, 1975 in Omaha.
Lois is survived by her husband, Wellen; sons, Jeffrey Alan Harris, William Marvin Harris, Brian Wayne Harris and James Adam Kelley and Charles Kelley; sisters, June Christensen of Omaha and Carol Iler-Schweigart of Holly, New York, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leonard and Kenneth Iler and sister Nancy Perrigo.
