Sonia Guillen Telles, 27, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on October 28, 2020. She was born in Okinawa, Japan on February 6, 1993 to Abran Bustamante Telles and Lydia Guillen Telles. Sonia was a prayer answered and a blessing from above. Her sister Sofia prayed for a sister every night for 7 years. Four years after Sonia was born, the family moved to Colorado Springs, and in 1999 they made their home in El Paso, Texas.
Sonia was a wonderful caring mother with such a big heart. She was full of love and compassion, caring genuinely for all who knew her. She was a radiant shining light when she entered any place. She was always curious of the cosmos and God. She loved reading, writing poetry, and listening to music.
Sonia was preceded in death by her mother, Lydia Guillen Telles; and her grandmother, Leocadia Bustamante Telles. Left to cherish her memory are her grandmother, Amada Hudgens; her father, Abran Bustamante Telles; a sister, Sofia Telles; three brothers, Abran G. Telles, Enrique Telles, Gabriel Telles; and her son, Alexander Guillen Escobedo.
