AnnRae Nassau, 66, of Ann Arbor, died July 10, 2012 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She died at home surrounded by her loving family. Born August 18, 1945 and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, AnnRae was the daughter of Raymond and Margaret Falicki. She graduated from Michigan State but, ironically, was a fanatical University of Michigan football fan. She lived the majority of her life in Michigan, moving to Ann Arbor in 1995. During her life, she was both a teacher and real estate agent for the Charles Reinhardt Company. Most importantly, she was a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother and a cherished friend. AnnRae always gathered her loved ones, engaged friends and strangers alike and created a warm and comforting home. She was an excellent athlete who loved playing and watching golf and tennis. She also enjoyed traveling, the beach and the sunset, usually in the company of her family and friends. She is survived by her sister Judith Eisner; partner Harve Light; three children, Aimee Gardiner, Robert Nassau III, and Rebecca Wancier; and six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 16 at 2:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor located at 1432 Washtenaw Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center Pancreatic Cancer Program Fund.
