My condolences to Carme's family. I know you will miss her dearly. I played bridge with her for over 25 years. She was a delight. She always had a fun story and was a sharp bridge player. The last year I played bridge with her, in the Ann Arbor Cancer Marathon Bridge Group, I was shocked at how well she bid and played!! Right to the last she still had such entertaining stories. I know she is happy to be reunited with her husband. They are probably playing bridge right now!!  Charlene Hane

I will always remember what a wonderful grandmother I had.  My grandmother always had something nice to say about everyone she met and welcomed anyone into her home.  She had so much love for her family and would do anything for them.  I will cherish the memories I had with her and will miss her very much!

I spent most of my life with you.  You were always there for me when I needed you.  You took care of me and I had the opportunity to return the favor.  You will always be in my heart. My condolences to all the Letourneau family as well as Aunt Ro.  I will forever remember that my "Aunt Carmie" was always there for me while I was growing up on Worden Street.

To all the family, I have so many great memories of Carmela until it is too many to even start on. I really loved her and she always called me her black daughter. Even though,  I had not spoken  with her for some time, because she had forgotten who I was, I never forgot about her. I will miss knowing my little Carmie is not on earth, but I know  she is with the Father in heaven. She belong there, because of her wonderful gift of caring and loving everyone.
I was happy to see all of you on Tuesday and I am praying for you all.

I worked with your mom at University Hospital in Patient Accounts during the 70s.  She was such a joy and kept us laughing with her wonderful stories.  She loved her family dearly and I felt like I knew all of you too.  She shared her wonderful recipes and fed us all well.  I still use some of the recipes.  She was a sweet, kind person.

We had the pleasure of meeting your sister/mom when we lived on Worden St and the house next door was a rental.  When your cousin Bob and his wife Diane rented your mom's house, the fun really began!!  Your mom and Aunt Rose along with Bob and Diane would have us in gales of laughter!!  We have always cherished our relationship with them, and the fond memories of your mom and dad.

I met Carmela years ago when I work for Roger at Wedemeyer Electronics. I knew immediately what a wonderful person she was and how much Roger loved her.  Years late I would meet Olida, Michelle and Stephanie through working at Bryant Elementary School and I know I told them all how Roger was the greatest boss I ever worked for.  My heartfelt condolences go out to the whole family in your loss of a wonderful Mom, but now you know that she and Roger will be together once again.

I work many years with Carmie at University of Michigan Hospital, she was one of the kindest, generous and most caring people I have ever known. My sympathy to her family.
