Dana Aras of Ann Arbor age 90, passed away peacefully at Arbor Hospice Residence with her beloved daughters at her side. Dana immigrated from Lithuania to the US by way of Canada immediately following the end of WWII. After raising four children, she went on a journey of self-discovery and became a voracious reader and active participant in activities related to meeting her highest spiritual potential. She was preceded in death by her son Vytas Kazlauskas; she is survived by her daughters Daiva Devereaux of Lansing, Siga Kazlan of Saline, and Rasa Regan of Jupiter, Florida. Dana treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren Aidan and Dan Gawura, Abigail Regan, and Kathleen and David Devereaux. She felt fortunate to live long enough to spend time with her four beautiful great-grandchildren.
Through the years, she made many friends and developed close relationships with people across the state and country. A celebration of her life and memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in Ann Arbor later this summer.
