Diane F. Clark, 79, passed away after a brief illness on July 1, 2020. She was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on March 29, 1941 to Stanley and Helen (Whidden) Baldwin. She immigrated to Detroit as a young woman where she met her husband, the late Robert L. Clark, and they later moved to Ann Arbor. She attended Washtenaw Community College and went on to earn a bachelors in accounting from Clearly College. After a long career as a Certified Public Accountant, she had what she thought was the perfect retirement job as the Manager of the Friends Bookshop at the Ann Arbor Public Library. She was an active member of the Dexter Senior Center and served on their Board. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, and sister. Diane was the much beloved mother of Catherine (Rick) Uecker and the late Joseph (Lori) Clark. Kind, generous, and loving Grandma/Mamie to Nicholas Clark, Alexander (Bryony) Clark, and Calvin Uecker. Diane loved her family, grandsons, friends, reading, gardening, playing cards, chocolate, and taking trips on the old roads.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in her name to the Friends Bookshop at the Ann Arbor Public Library.
