Edgar Gyde Jr.

Edgar Gyde, Jr. age 89, died on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at Ann Arbor The Residence. A dairy farmer all his life, Edgar was active in the Michigan Farm Bureau and Michigan Milk Producers Association. He was involved in the Community serving as Township Supervisor, Board of Review, and a School Committee. He was an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking year round. He also enjoyed gardening, with pansy's being a favorite, which he looked forward to every spring.

He is survived by his wife Margaret (DeKett) Gyde, two children, Daniel (Jenny) Gyde, Jennifer (Frank) Morris, grandson Zacory Morris, two sisters, Annie (Elmer) Wessel, Ethel Paul and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 South Fourth Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48104 from 2pm - 8pm on Sunday April 28. Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2945 E. Northfield Church Rd. Ann Arbor MI 48105 at 11am Monday April 29 with additional visitation beginning at 10am. There will be a luncheon following the Service.
