Ed was a long time resident of Ann Arbor Michigan and a past employee of Kroger and Meijer. He was very connected to his Native American heritage and had a great love for animals. Ed possessed a spirit for adventure and was known to travel the country in search of the most extreme roller coasters. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Tabler; his daughter, Laura Phillips; his sister, Debra Arecheja and his two nephews, Nicholas and Jacob Smith.
Ed was a kind man who's loving heart was clearly evident in the way he cared for his beloved pets. From birds to dogs, Ed's generous nature welcomed all sorts of furry and feathered friends into his home. Ed's family will miss his warm smile and the joy he so clearly felt in caring for his dear pets.
Ed was also a veteran who proudly served his country during his time in the United States Air Force. Ed was a brave and loyal soldier, as well as a dear friend to many.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 1-3:00 PM. Friends and family are encouraged to gather at Muehlig Funeral Chapel to share stories and celebrate Ed's life together.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be in the Guest Book.
